City, Paint, Machine is a painting robot designed by panGenerator that uses air pressure to apply a splatter technique to each piece. The technique used to create this abstract expressionist art produces a similar aesthetic to the works of Jackson Pollock. The machine tracks street sidewalk traffic and translates the information into various paint splatters. The goal behind this new age endeavor is to create pieces that achieve order as a result of random chaos. This modern artistic pursuit combines logical formulas and science with abstract art methods that come together to form colorful and compelling compositions. [via fastcodedesign]
