Richard’s comment is rather offending. You’re looking at the empty half of the glass. Western countries, yours included, likely spend multiples of the cost of such a landmark to research weapons and destruction tools. Why don’t you give such advice to your own country!!!???

I don’t see anything bad about using “petro-dollar” to develop other economic sectors (such as tourism).

For everyone’s information, the UAE is one of the leading countries in providing aid to poorer countries worldwide.

Westeners who live here, enjoy things like security, social status and financial prosperity that they would never ever find at their home countries.

So, if you’re lucky, see you soon at Abu Dhabi.

I believe that it is not a good idea, sure ferrari makes cash but am I or any other westener expected to travel to the UAE to do any kind of Italian tour. Why not … go to… Italy?

Love the car museum, stick that in Italy, then I’d go.

Its not a waste if its profitable. I love the fact that some people have the sheer audacity to attempt something as ambitious as this, and just the number of jobs that a place like this will create is admirable.

I love Ferrari as well, and am so excited to visit.

Hope Ferrari does a good job so we all enjoy some racing experiences, and not be as Michael said ‘Brand destruction’

lol- Ridiculous. Upscale brand takes downscale theme park detour. This isn’t brand management, it’s brand destruction.

This may increase the number of people who may desire a Ferrari, unfortunately it is doubtful that this will also create more money in those same dreamers bank accounts.
