The Le Marche Villa located in Treia, Italy was a completed restoration project by Wespi de Meuron Architekten. A tasteful contemporary twist was added to the elegantly classic Italian home that sits overlooking rolling olive fields. A serene overflowing pool and spacious rooms and outdoor living areas create an inviting atmosphere away from the chaos of the surrounding cities. Tall vaulted ceilings and walls made up of pale brick and stone preserve the charm authenticity of the main house as well as the refurbished farm house. Elongated tables and eating areas suggest that one intended to relax, soak in the Italian ambiance and indulge the senses with delicious food. [via yatzer]
