Tim Simmons Snow Photography

British photographer Tim Simmons has an amazing touch when it comes to landscape photography. While all of his seasonal photography is exceptional, his work with the fallen snow is certainly topical today. The midwest faces a tough blizzard tomorrow, having been treated to a rather mild winter so far. Before that snow falls, Tim Simmons’ photographs remind us of the sheer beauty of a fresh snow– an emotion that might be a bit difficult to replicate in a matter of hours. Be sure to pay Tim Simmons’ website a visit, you are in for a pure visual treat even beyond the snow photographs here.

This is very inspiring, thanks for sharing! I checked Simmon’s website and I feel his work with snow is his best work. I like the use of light, shadow, and texture. I did enjoy the grass trench as well.
Beautiful! These are all so serene. I love the ones with bumps.. and you could imagine anything could be hidden under those mounds of snow. Bushes, rocks, a car. Anything.
meravigliose!
These are amazing photos of extremely strong aesthetic quality. It does pose a question, though, how is the lighting handled?? There are no visible footprints in the snow so how did he get the areas lighted?
