Located in Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia, this treehouse is actually a suite of three treehouse rooms that are connected by rope bridges. Each room is furnished with antique objects and natural artifacts. The bedroom has a double bed, a desk, side tables, an antique birdcage, and votives and fairy lights. The living room has antique furnishings like 80 year old windows, a 12-candle chandelier, a 6-seater, and a balcony. The deck includes a circular seating for 10 and a hammock. Of course, the treehouse is surrounded by old trees and scenic greenery.

This treehouse is built on a 150-year-old oak tree in a private, wooded property with views of the San Francisco Bay. Hawaiian Airbnb Treehouse at Kilauea Volcano
This Hawaiian treehouse was custom designed and built by the same crew usually seen on Treehouse Masters on TV. The treehouse was built as a companion to a Bali-style rainforest pavilion located a couple of blocks away. The pavilion was designed to be a wedding venue and the treehouse was built to be a honeymoon location and, therefore, designed to sleep a maximum of two persons. The treehouse is built with two levels and includes a living room with chairs and a flat screen TV, a kitchen, outdoor shower, composting toilet and vanity, and indoor fireplace. There is a lanai with a hot tub and dining table and chairs. The treehouse was built mostly with recycled materials.

Airbnb Treehouse in Sonoma County, CA
This multi-level treehouse is built on a 110-foot eucalyptus tree just five minutes from Petaluma in Sonoma County, California. The treehouse has a deck and living area with a twin bed and couch on its main level and a canopied queen bed in the loft area. There are windows all around that provide views of the hills and forests, and the vineyards and farm lands in the surrounding areas. The treehouse has a toilet, but guests will have to take their showers in a nearby barn. That just adds to the charm! Breakfast for the guests is also served in the kitchen of the main house.

Dreamy Tropical Treehouse in Fern Forest, Hawaii
Located in Fern Forest, Hawaii, the Dreamy Tropical Treehouse is a bamboo treehouse set 15 feet off the ground. The treehouse has a hanging bed on the ground level and a wrap-around lanai on the level above it, accessible via a staircase. Sliding glass doors lead to the bedroom and, within the bedroom, another glass door leads to the bathroom. The treehouse clearly embodies the natural theme, what with all the natural materials and the large windows that let natural light in, a solar power system, and rain water catchment system in the bath. Many of the details in the treehouse were DIY-built by the owner to create a customized and private space for guests.

This unique treehouse in Tiller, Oregon, is not exactly a treehouse but rather an enhanced lookout tower built on private land surrounded by the Umpqua National Forest in Douglas County. According to its description, the tower is modeled after the fire lookout towers that were built by the US Forest Service in the early 1900’s. The tower has a queen bed and two twin beds, a full kitchen, and an exterior shower. The place includes hot and cold water, a refrigerator, a propane stove, a heater and lamps. A pit bathroom is located about a hundred feet from the base of the tower.

Miami Treehouse Vacation Rental on a Working Organic Farm
Located in a farm in “Little Haiti” in Miami, Florida, this treehouse has a third-level bedroom space that includes a double bed for two and a raised wooden slab that can accommodate a twin mattress for a third guest. Nets over the beds are provided to protect guests from mosquitos. Fans, incense and citronella candles are also provided. There is a shared kitchen in the lower level and the bathroom is located in a newly-built outhouse. There is also an outdoor shower nearby. This Airbnb treehouse accommodation is within a farm so guests can feed the animals and participate in farm events.

This Tree Home Suite in Whidbey Island is a 250 square feet octagon-shaped home with a cedar tree growing straight through the center. It has a queen sized bed, a “hidden” sofa bed, a desk, dining table, TV monitor, a radiator heater, and an electric fireplace. Guests are provided free WiFi, a refrigerator with a freezer, microwave, and dishes and silverware. Cooking isn’t allowed but guests can build a campfire in a fire pit and roast burgers, hotdogs and marshmallows. A porta-potty is provided on the deck of the treehouse, but guests can use a shower house and toilet located nearby.
