The Cien House located in Chile serves a dual purpose as a studio and home designed by the young architects Mauricio Pezo and Sofía von Ellrichshausen. This tower like structure sits along a hillside and combines the aspects of a cozy home with the functionality of an efficient workspace for the couple. The master bedroom and other living areas are arranged according to the angle of the sun, allowing a maximum natural light exposure to enter the home throughout the day. Wood panels cover the interior walls which are painted a white that contrasts elegantly with the wood floor and lovely spiral staircase. The simple concrete exterior entices outsiders to seek what is inside.
