The Norwich Residence by Clive Wilkinson Architects had two barriers to scale with it’s fresh, contemporary design. It had to adhere to neighborhood design standards and fit to the unusual trapezoidal lot specifics on which it was to be built. To do so, Clive Wilkinson Architects devised this smooth stucco-style home that runs along the length of the lot that opens into a long patio and swimming pool. While the home may be cool and unassuming from the street, it’s interior is warm, bright and lively, using wooden accents, bright colors and comfortable furnishings throughout. While the home may be intended for an upper-class starter family, it could certainly accommodate a whole lot more. [more at contemporist]
