A bold new experiment in live/work design has been completed in central Tokyo, the House T by Hiroyuki Shinozaki.  House T is a home and studio built into a 3-story space with an open, cubic floor plan and a dream-like design.  It is puzzling at first glance, looking more like an abstract work by MC Esher than a modern living space.  The design does not eschew function for its visual experiment, however, as each separated room, nook and cranny has a purpose for its occupant for entertainment, work or rest.  Both here and in House T directly, it’s a space that is intended to be explored visually, so we’ll leave you to that.  [via designboom]
