A remote cabin sauna overlooks a peaceful lake in central Chile, providing serenity and relaxation to its guests. The Lakefront Sauna by Panorama Arquitectos is a small structure for a single occupant to escape a busy lifestyle elsewhere in Chile and South America. It is constructed largely of wood, both inside and out, with a simple slatted pattern that wraps around and within this geometrically dynamic structure. It features a few quiet rooms that look out over the dramatic slope of its plot and the quiet lake beyond. It’s a remarkable little cabin for an individual or a couple to get away from it all in Chile’s visually striking natural scenery. Like this sort of thing? Be sure to check out the Fogo Island Studios of Newfoundland, a similar architectural exercise. [architect: panorama arquitectos photographer: nicolás valdés via: designboom]
