Young Hungarian photographer Noell S. Oszvald has produced a portfolio beyond her years, a collection of striking black a white self-portraits focused on form, composition and content. High contrast shadows and ghostly landscapes create the dark and emotional ambiance portrayed in the young artist’s self portraits. Viewers are given only an image and title to then interpret the personal meaning of each photograph. Meticulous digital modifications and editing add depth and thought provoking elements to pieces such as “Prejudice” and “Destiny”. Soft backgrounds and strategic lighting techniques enable Oszvald to stand out and create bold impact with each image. [via mymodernmet]
