South Korean design group DMO has revealed their own interesting take on floor lighting. The Flat Lighting series focuses on two dimensions, a thin series of lights that uses hidden LEDs instead of traditional bulbs. It is designed to lean up against a wall, providing plenty of light in a low profile system. Over all, the visual goal of these lights is to appear iconic, a simple stick figure that lends itself to the character of design icons. They are available in full length versions as well as a smaller set of table lamps, both available in either wood or plastic. Flat Lighting is not yet available for purchase, but we’ll update you as soon as these hit the street. [dmo via designboom]
