Konstantin Dimopoulos is the visionary behind the traveling deforestation awareness art project taking place in various cities around the United States. The Australian based artist uses blue dye to paint the trunks and branches of various trees, making them irresistible for passer’s by not to give them a second glance. Harmless eco-friendly dye is used to coat the trees that have brilliantly covered leaves that contrast against the blue dye giving a sense of something that would be found in another fantasy world. The project is hoped to bring insight into the millions of acres of trees cut down every year.
