Photographer Julien Mauve captures images of grown adults with childhood playthings and living out youthful fantasies. Among some imagery shown in the series is the business professional woman on her toy phone, the robber with his play gun and the artist exhibiting her crayon drawings. These images give a playful twist to common day personas and attitudes while showing how some child hood elements translate later into adulthood. Each photo gives some insight to the personality behind its main subject like the boy who wanted to grow up to be a race car driver or the old woman who never got to have a real pet dog. [via fubiz]
