Subaru Kickboxer Motorcycle Concept

Designer Ian McElroy has envisioned a Subaru motorcycle that runs a horizontally-opposed boxer engine, something only few motorcycles currently run. The Subaru Kickboxer Motorcycle Concept is a street beast with muscles on muscles, thanks to its uniquely set 4 cam, 16 valve engine. The front and rear wheels feature single-side swingarms, giving the chassis a floating effect from the vehicle’s left side. Sadly it will elicit a testosterone spiced “awesum” or OMG kewl!” from the design illterate.
As a motorcyclist I like the concept. Is it practical no, but who cares. Would I ride it? YOU BET!
Just three changes: change the seat, add a fuel tank and radiator.
While i agree the initial design needs a little work, i like the basic idea. I enjoy productive eccentricity and that opposed four has proven to be one productive engine. seeing it work in a sportbike would be intriguing to say the least.
Not to mention the idea of subaru getting into the sportbike market…. id say this would be an ideal seller to approach that particular market with
