One-half sculpture, one-half seating, this new piece of indoor-outdoor furniture will look dead sexy in any environment. The Mariposa Chair by Kate Rider is a floor level lounge chair with a conical design and a lacy, open back. Available in black or white, the Mariposa Chair may not blend in with your standard furniture, but these were designed to stand out. These chairs have not yet hit production, but we hope Kate’s design will see the market sooner than later. [via contemporist]
