Chopard L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon Watch

Chopard has released their latest tourbillon watch at Baselworld 2010, the Chopard L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon Watch. This alligator, titanium and sapphire watch sports a gravity-defying tourbillon, front-and-center, with stunning aircraft-grade handiwork throughout its face. Its tourbillon carries a 60 hour power reserve, its capacity displayed in a charge indicator atop the watch’s face. The fine, hand-sewn alligator band is the icing on this slice of cake– one that’ll likely fetch more than $50,000 on the common market. Only 150 will be produced by Chopard, so the bidders had better get their attention now… [chopard via perpetuelle]

Hey thanks for the link. Nice writeup you gave it!
My pleasure Kyle! You run a great site over at Perpetuelle, we’ll be sure to keep an eye on your work and mention it here where possible. Thanks for commenting!
Saw this in Basel. I’m not sure about the numerals, which seem to be painted on the crystal. It also looks like the engine in my car ! However I do like the view though the caseback.
