A more aggressive preparation blends 1 liter of white vinegar, 40 grams of salt, and 10 milliliters of dish soap. Reserve this formula strictly for mineral surfaces where nothing should grow again, such as paved driveways or stone borders. The salt content can impoverish soil long-term and harm beneficial soil organisms.
Spraying must remain targeted, carefully avoiding vegetable gardens, lawns, and flower beds. Even homemade mixtures can alter soil structure and reduce its water absorption capacity. Recipes containing salt carry additional risk of depleting the ground and disrupting microfauna over time.
When and where this approach makes sense
