The Waiheke Island Retreat by Fearon Hay Architects resides among the dunes rolling into New Zealand’s Matiatia Bay. This quaint tropical retreat is composed of three free standing structures circling a central courtyard. A freestanding pool sits to the side of the property where one can overlook a stunning Auckland sunset. Massive glass windows span from floor to ceiling, creating an organic relationship between the interior and surrounding landscape. Neutral colors, simple design and prime location harmonize together to create this tropical relaxation haven.
