It’s fast, furious and electric powered, and benefits from a progressive design that looks better than your Lotus-based skin. The Electric Raceabout takes the suspension of an Audi R8 and the electric heartbeat of a next-gen sports car, pushing 60 mph in less than five seconds on its way to a top speed of 125 mph. Sure, that may not boast the same specs as a Tesla, but this is a student designed auto. And it purrs like an electric wild cat… We hope that this fully-operating prototype hits production sooner than later. [raceabout via jalopnik]
